1 | Aimsun BDM |
---|
2 | ========== |
---|
3 | |
---|
4 | This is the home of Aimsun-BDM data source. |
---|
5 | |
---|
6 | Aimsun is a microscopic traffic simulator developed and marketed by |
---|
7 | TSS Inc. from Barcelona. See http://www.aimsun.com/ for details. |
---|
8 | |
---|
9 | The purpose of this data source is to run a simulated urban traffic |
---|
10 | experiment in Aimsun and provide back to BDM measurements and statistics |
---|
11 | mimicking those of real measurement devices. Hence, the data source |
---|
12 | specifies the Aimsun scenario to run and the traffic demands on the inputs |
---|
13 | to the simulated network. As soon as the simulation starts, Aimsun |
---|
14 | provides back detector measurements and a set of statistics (including, |
---|
15 | for example, delays, queue lengths, or average speeds) which form the |
---|
16 | data provided by this data source. |
---|
17 | |
---|
18 | The current versions of the underlying libraries support Aimsun 4.2.x. |
---|
19 | group. Newer Aimsun versions (Aimsun NG 5.x and 6.x) are not supported |
---|
20 | as we do not own the license to these versions of the simulator. |
